pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

OK thanks. But I remember it was something like the 0.7.9 that was working with Big Sur, no?

It may have but I only ever tested the latest versions of OpenCore with the most current version of macOS at the time...

I am testing 0.8.4 with Big Sur at the moment. So far everything seems to work flawlessly. Is there anything I should test in particular?

Shouldn't this be running at x16 native? I have a Radeon VII installed on the first two slots, a Decklink on the third and on the last a WLAN card. Could this be the issue or is there something I should change in BIOS?

Here's a pic (without the decklink yet)

This is normal.
If you have cards in the first and third slots, both slots will run at x8.
If you only have a card in the first slot and nothing in the third slot, the first slot will run at x16.

So the graphic performance should be better with x16 I guess? I am just wondering if I want to keep the decklink card as it gives me even slower performance in Davinci than with 2 screens via Radeon VII. The Decklink Mini Monitor 4k only runs at 4x (but I think thats normal, it says PCI Express 4 lane generation)

In real world usage, the Radeon VII should see little to no difference between x8 and x16.

Hi pastrychef,

a couple of days ago my build showed in the menu "Blutooth not available" and the Magic Keyboard and Trackpad disconnected. Wired they work, but Blutooth stays "not available". Any hints, or should I count with a broken wifi adapter? I am using the one from the MacAir and the mod on the Asus mainboard instead of the original one. Computer doesn't move, nor shake nor is overheated. Also didn't perform any software upgrades since quite some time already.
