So, how I prepare my macmini6,1 and MacBook Pro 11,1 for Ventura? You sure that HD4400 and Iris HD 5100 work for Ventura?

this patch is done for open core legacy patcher that works on Macs. Not sure it works on hackintosh. But, I am sure this will be added to open core soon.

I have gotten the the opencore legacy patcher app to successfully patch the graphics in Monterey post install on my hd4000 ivy bridge hackintosh with the right config.plist…..so if the OCLP and opencore evolve to automate the process of installing Ventura on ivy bridge cpus and patch hd 4000 graphics post install, there is hope….…… right now, apparently without serious maneuvering, one can’t even get Ventura to boot on an ivy bridge cpu.

This is a forum for hackintosh, so you will probably get more help at Macrumors forum once there is support from Opencore legacy patcher with Ventura for HD4000. There is no Ventura oclp support for hd4000 yet. It’s being worked on, and it is probably around the corner. So we just have to wait a bit more.

The one really important thing OCLP can't offer is support for AVX2 instructions, that Ivy Br. and older CPUs just don't have. That will greatly hamper how well the CPU performs. It will take a "hit" as they say. To run Ventura it makes more sense to spend a little money on a Dell or HP Desktop model with a KabyLake i5-7500 or i7-7700 CPU. Those and the HD630 iGPU have full support. The 18,2 and 18,3 iMacs actually used the exact same CPUs so it's a perfect fit in terms of CPU power management, voltages and frequencies. Three important things you want to work properly in your hack. If you want to run a dGPU like the RX460 or RX560 the 18,2 SMBIOS is an even better match. Perfect actually.

Anyone using an i5-7500 and an RX 570 dGPU could choose iMac18,3 for another perfect fit SMBIOS.

Going with 8th or 9th gen Intel CPUs will give you longer macOS support but they cost a bit more than 7th gen systems do today. The refurbished 7th Gen Dells and HPs go for about the same price as Haswell and older right now. Millions of them are off lease so the huge supply causes prices to go down. They can't "officially" be upgraded to Windows 11 either so large corporations won't want to extend their use beyond 2023 or 2024.

Please share your opencore EFI for i7-4790K and Intel HD 4600 for macOS Ventura.
I am still on Monterey. Waiting for Ventura release, and open core version with support.

Ventura release is not likely to happen I think, because all support including Skylake has been removed from it.
