For those who don't know (I haven't used gibmacOS for a while) with the newer OS versions do not use the BuildmacOSInstallApp.command, go to the macOS Downloads folder and double click to run the InstallAssistant.pkg (this builds the installer app).... then look in your applications folder to find Install macOS Ventura beta app.

I made this video for Big Sur a few years ago. Still applies to Ventura and Monterey.
At the one minute timestamp 1:00 to 1:30 it shows the double click on InstallAssistant package.
Then it automatically gets moved to Applications once all the prompts are clicked through.

From there you can create your USB installer with CreateInstallMedia method.

So when I run the create install media command from the linked page on the 1st post, I get a bootable USB with the installer app on it but also a bunch of im4m files and a restore folder. Is this normal for beta?

I am using the latest OC configured and working for Monterey.... Unfortunately at this time booting the Ventura stick, I get the apple logo and loading bar, then some screen artifacts and a freezup. Will have to use verbose and see what is up when I have time later.

Thx, with OC 0.8.3 this update through without any problems.
This is what I was saying previously long before the Public Beta release after noticing some member still using old versions of OC just because it was still booting their machine. I did warn getting into the habit of not updating to the latest OC version will inevitable cause a problem down the road. Ventura is a different animal compared with previous OS X versions and the OC Devs had to recode OC to facilitate successful Ventura install/Update.

Ventura will not boot or install with OC and kexts versions prior to 0.8.3, old versions will lead to continuous boot loop or kernel panics as I am sure a few members are now finding this out.

How stable is it? Trying to decide if I want to dig out an old hard drive to give it a try

With OC 082 in restart loop.
With OC 083 just installed and everything regular, at least in this first phase.
