At least your situation is better than those Mac Pro users’.As a hackintosher, that would be like giving up. Nothing wrong with the hardware…sure we can figure this one out too, as lots of things have been figured out before.
Isn’t the 780ti an nvidia card? How would that still work? What would I have to do driver wise, if I can’t open the web driver installer?Or just install a supported AMD card. Even installing a 780 Ti would work. Lots of options.
The GTX 780/ti has native support, no additional drivers required.Isn’t the 780ti an nvidia card? How would that still work? What would I have to do driver wise, if I can’t open the web driver installer?
Plug and play. Uninstall the Nvidia Web drivers before using it.How would that still work?
Ah, okay. Good to know. will uninstall the drivers. Will try find a used one on eBay. Thank you!Plug and play. Uninstall the Nvidia Web drivers before using it.
Not certain that it is Apple, surely the Nvidia web drivers are owned/maintained by Nvidia.
Interesting idea. I will indeed try that suggestion. Thank you!If you don't want to hassle with changing out your graphics card, I'd first try installing the Nvidia drivers again but doing so AFTER you change your BIOS time and date back to May 1st. EDIT: Don't forget to change it back afterward - successful or not.
