[Guide] Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (skylake)

Hi Guys,
I've just tried to install OC hackintosh on my Dell 7559 HD. I have a strange problem (I think...)... I've tried both Catalina and BigSur install media and both installers are working. I prepare disk (I use whole disk for installation of MacOS). So basically installer is finished but at the end in OC menu I don't see the option to boot from the disk... I suspect that this is the problem that after the install I only see the USB installer disk. Please check my attached screens and please let me know what I should check/do to investigate. In the past I didn't had any problems to run HighSierra with Clover. This is my first OC try and maybe I do something completely wrong...
Hi,

Try some of the OpenCore folder I've attached, according to your macOS version. Just add/change Smbios info (I use Macbook Pro 13.3) and add kexts for your wifi and bluetooth card.

If it doesn't work, attach your efi folder to try to find out what's going on.
I hope it helps!

hmm... To clarify more (because maybe I do something wrong for OC install) - after USB installer prepare I've just copied EFI folder from this post (tried both: 0.7.5.zip & OC-04:2022.zip) to the USB installer and the installation was "successful" as I said "first and second" parts. That is why I think this is not the problem with EFI components but I can be wrong...

So basically as I remember my earlier Clover installations the last (2nd) reboot should boot to the installed MACOS (but still by using USB stick as only there was Clover installed at this point).

Is there any difference with the OC method? For example after the install should I again boot into the installer and maybe copy/install OC to the local disk partition to be able to boot from it? Or should it just boot after the installation from OC USB stick and recognize my local Crucial SSD?

Yes, after installation you must mount the EFI partition of your disk (your Crucial SSD) and copy the EFI folder to the partition, that way you will be able to boot the system without USB.

well this is something I know... the question is if without this step I still should be able to boot newly installed MACOS via USB? Please check my screenshots again. The last one is just after the installation... why there are not option to chose the local Crucial SSD? During the installation after first reboot there are 2 options to boot:
1) from USB installer again
2) from local disk to continue the installation (and I chose this one to finalize the installation)

...but after the final reboot and booting from USB there is again visible only the 1 option to boot the installer... So again my question is if this is normal and should I reconfigure OC or if there is something else wrong?

EDIT:
Ok Guys I think I have the problem as previously in this post "black screen after choosing macOS installer". Anyway I'm not sure what is wrong with my config. BIOS settings are as recommended. Which BIOS version should work for sure?

EDIT2:
I've installed bios version 1.2.9 and now after going to the MAC OS Installer it tries to load for a while but it reboots computer very quickly.

I think it is the APFS driver settings, as in the screenshot it is from the Catalina installation, you have to configure MinDate and MinVersion in the UEFI section of the config file.

Honestly I don't know what does it mean at all ;) I'm trying to install BigSur right now. I'm using the EFI .zipped as mentioned before. I've thought that this should be there as config file is there right? I will update this post with BigSur results soon...

EDIT:
I've tried both BigSur and Monterey and it just reboot when try to go to MacOS Installer...

EDIT2:
It is very strange. I've ended with not completed installation of Monterey as the MacOS Installer after the reboot didnt' work because laptop was always rebooted after then... so I prepared new USB Installator but again with the Catalina base image... I've copied the .zip EFI files the same as before and booted from this USB... this time I chose the "MacOS Installer" just as a try with no any fate that it will work... ...and it booted to MacOS Updater but this updater didn't move forward so I did a restart and again I've chosen the MacOS Installer and this time it booted into Monterey installation step 2 lets say... after around 30min and reboot it booted to Monterey and I have right now working version 12.3.1... I've copied EFI from USB to my local EFI and it boots without USB so far. I will test more things tomorrow... Thx Guys
