Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) was announced today. Once again the event is online June 6-10, 2022. Expected are new iterations of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS as well as the introduction of new hardware. What would you like to see announced?

Similar thought. How about an M1 iPad, that can dual boot into MacOS when connected to a dock? So it can be your desktop at home. Multiple monitors, keyboard, external memory.

I would like them to announce a call to improve code quality and a return to form, to the glory days of Sierra or even El Capitan, where the MacOS worked with little to no major bugs. My sister used Sierra/High Sierra for YEARS with little to no crashes ever. Rock solid. But Monterey has been a buggy beast with hard kernel panics with Apple Silicon machines resuming from sleep while connected to a TB4 dock. This NEVER happened on my Hack ever with Titan Ridge or Maple Ridge... unacceptable.

I would also like for them to implement proper external monitor support on iPadOS. This means two things:
  1. The ability to display the image on the external monitor in the monitor's native resolution and aspect ratio (i.e., no more cropped black bars to the sides of images).
  2. The ability to display a separate image to the external monitor (i.e., run it in 'extended mode' not mirrored mode) as we can on macOS.
Clearly the M1 in a Mac supports this already, so why can't the same M1 in the iPad Pro/Air 5 be unleashed to do the same??

Second, I would like them to introduce full windowing support in iPad OS. That would make multitasking much easier. Right now in iPadOS 15, the 'Quick Note' feature exists in a separate window that can float above other apps, and can be moved freely around the screen. So why not extend that feature to the rest of the OS?

Third, iPadOS should introduce interactive widgets. Why can't I play music in Spotify or Apple Music and change playlists and so forth from the widget itself?

Fourth, macOS should be modified so that we can use our iPhones/iPads as webcams...3rd party solutions exist to make this happen, like Epoccam. But apple prides itself on tight integration between its devices with continuity and universal control... so why can't the 'universal control' on the Mac control the iPhone's camera out of the box?

That Intel will be completely deprecated for macOS on 2023 !!!
If that were the case it would be very bad situ for any current Intel Mac owners, the latest being those who've bought say a Mac Pro Xeon, iMac Pro, or Intel Macbook Pro within the last 3 years. How would you feel if your system that you've invested in depreciated so badly within less than 4 years of purchase? And let's not forget those developers whose livelihoods depend upon making software for the Intel PC & Intel Mac platforms.

I really feel sad for them but the way their ecosystem changes fast its not impossible.
