[Success] ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX + TB3 + iGPU + Mojave + SFF Build

Thanks, I'll try it out. So you now boot Big Sur with Clover, or you just tried it out because of the guide you posted?
Nope neither. Posted just for info purposes. Moving up a version as slowly as I can - basically when software forces me to.

I managed to install Big Sur with OC 6.7, for me boot time is the same as with Mojave (using SATA SSD) which is great.
I still have a problem with the wake, I cannot wake it after sleep by hitting a key on the keyboard or moving the mouse (this is working for me with Clover + Mojave combo).
If anyone has this working with OC, please guide me in the right direction, or if you don't mind then please post a working OC EFI so I can try it out.

This is the only thing not working for me either in Monterrey 12.1 (wasn't working in 12.0.1 either).

Thanks a lot for sharing the info!
I am not sure yet how to search for this issue, as in what keywords to use, but I will try.. I will report back if I find something :)

Hello there ! I might do a clean install of the whole setup on BigSur or Monterey, would you recommend that? I absolutely need the Thunderbolt (Hot plug or not, it's just for an audio interface) and it worries me haha

Thank you !

Have you tried enabling AppleVTD?

Sorry. I expressed myself badly. :banghead: My config currently works well under Mojave with the functional Thunderbolt port. I just wanted to switch to BigS ur or Monterey, only if there were no issues with the config.

Thanks !

ASRock has officially released the new Thunderbolt firmware for Asrock Z490 Phantom Gaming its/ac and it can be updated in Windows. I don't know if I can modify the officially released firmware so that it can update the modified Thunderbolt firmware in Windows.

Hi! Here are some of the updates what I've done for my install.

I successfully install macOS Catalina 10.15.7 using an EFI provide on this post. (With OpenCore)

Indeed even, if I followed all the steps, i couldn't boot my USB stick with this EFI. (With Clover)

Once the installation done, I wanted to put my head in the EFI provide by rj510, because Thunderbolt/ USB-c is not working.

I tried to compare both of them but I think I'm still a little bit noob for those things. Haha!

I've done some changes on it. I actually can boot on it. But, when I launch my drive with Catalina, I just have the Apple logo, the white progressing bar and some weird violet things on the screen. Then a black screen.

I'll put my head in the Dortania's Guide. But, if someone have an idea for the clover EFI, I'm in !

Thank you for your help !

i7 9700k / 32gb 3000Mhz Corsair vengeance
RX 570 4go
Samsung SSD 970 PRO Nvme (Apfs)
