Abhor Apple's New Full Updates Instead of the Smaller Supplemental Updates

One of the reasons why I absolutely abhor Apple's new full updates instead of the previous smaller supplemental ones has been one of time. It is such a waste of time and resources to have to wait for a 12 gig file to download. In my case because of the demand I'm having to wait 13 days just to get to 12.3! It is a real nightmare to update systems this way especially if you are say, an IT department admin or someone busy with work that requires a software update at a moments notice. Smaller updates means less queues waiting at the server, less time wasted and better productivity.

Just to be a friendly nuisance, Apple content distribution is the only source on the web I have come across that can drive a 1Gbs connection to capacity, but I still hate having to wait 2 minutes for a full 12GB update to come down.

They do offer smaller incremental updates. Most of my updates are around ~2-4GB on Monterey. I'd check SIP and SecureBootModel (on OC).

It should be around 1 gigabit on my home network with the ISP. I have no problem downloading files normally but the response from the Apple servers are absolutely awful. Even downloads using gibmacOS stall after 1-2 minutes.
