Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

Hey! Thanks the new build work. It's really good. I just found out a new issue,
When I playing games (football manager), after 10-30min, the PC Freeze and make a noise. So I need to restart.

I have try XMP Profile 1 in BIOS and set Memory RAM 2666 MHz
Still freezes, but the mouse moves and no noise.

Do you have any idea ?

AMD Vega 56 - i9-9900K

Thanks.

I don't know... Try with XMP disabled and with no overclocks. Also test in Windows or Linux to see if you get freezes.

@mrsachou - if it's an issue with the video card, can you try replicating the crashes using the iGPU

Hello people! Anyone know how can move the data from the Samsung 970 EVO to Western Digital Black SN750?
I need this because I'm facing speed issues since I've upgraded my system to Monterey OS.
Any tutorial? Thanks in advance guys!

  1. At the OpenCore or Clover boot menu, select the Recovery partition.
  2. Once booted in to Recovery, reinstall macOS on your new SSD.
  3. When installation is complete, use Migration Assistant to migrate everything from your old SSD to your new SSD.
  4. Done.

Thank you @pastrychef
Another question... Is there a possibility to downgrade to Big Sur on this set up?

You can't downgrade an existing install but you can do a fresh installation of Big Sur.

I would use SuperDuper to clone the Samsung drive to the Western Digital drive. This assumes you can plug them both in at the same time. This will be much faster than time machine.

@pastrychef hello, if I want to disconnect the old NVMe and use the new one... How can I move the EFI folder? What should I do to make sure the EFI Folder is gonna be there after I disconnected the older one?
Thanks.
