[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Unfortunately the Laird BT851 does not yet work in Monterey.
Sorry, I made a typo and was not clear. I received a new Bluetooth dongle in replacement of my Laird.
This replacement unit (unfortunately non identifiable) use to work OTB under Big Sur. Is there something I can try or is supposed to still work OTB ?

All of this makes good sense.

Putting a macOS home folder on an NVMe SSD partitioned with Windows and macOS?? Not sure I like that idea. It's technically possible.

Hahaha, I know it sounds like a complete sorcery, but I'll give it a go. I'll report my findings. Thanks again for your help!

  • Do you have a link to the new Bluetooth dongle?
  • Does it appear in IORegistryExplorer in the XHC section?
  • If so, post a screenshot like this one:

CaseySJ anything you can do to help me out with my tiny issue?

Device over network (AVB) drop connection after a few seconds.

So i turn on the device/turn on hackintosh/log in and go to Audio Midi/ Windows/ devices under network and it shows my Avid Pro Carbon, a few seconds later it drop/disappear and then thats it. Im stock ‍:(

Which version of macOS is this happening on?

Was the AVB connection stable in an earlier version of macOS?

Which Ethernet device are you using? Is it Apple's Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter connected via Apple TB3-to-TB2 adapter?

Do you get stable, reliable Ethernet connection over this port (not AVB, but just regular Ethernet)? This can be tested by disabling WiFi and just using wired Ethernet.

OpenCore Configurator 2.56.0.0 has just been released. Now I can work on the 0.7.7 mini-guide (coming soon).

Last macOS Big Sur Update (11.6.x)
Apple TB3-to-TB2-to-GbEth (Yes... as you mentioned)
I haven't try to connect to the internet using this port.
My Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and built in ethernet ports are working (z390 designare) using the DMAR and VT-D method.

One thing I need to mention..... i did update the bios to F9j..... I was reading that this version is not to reliable? That is better to downgrade to F9i or F9g Beta, is this correct and could this be my problem right now?
