Hello,
I have researched a lot how to install macOS Monterey on my laptop, compatible. I really can't do it, already to create the EFI folder (I spent 2 hours there) but nothing works. I have my iMac and my laptop available to create the key, but I can't, I need help.
Thank you in advance, good evening

bit vague... what is the issue?

I tried with an EFI file already made, and adapt it, it works (rather) not badly under Catalina, but I cannot install the kext itlwm or airportbrcmfixup to have wifi. When I tried for Monterey, either the system would not boot or there was an error. In short, I never reached the macOS installer.

Either he couldn't find the kext, airportbrcmfixup, or when I had Catalina and wanted to update to Monterey there was an error message, nothing indicated. I think I need to go back to the basics, starting with the most optimized way to create my USB drive and then build my EFI. My UEFI settings are good (they work for Catalina) my USB key is 16gb.

if you can't tell me, then take a pic where it hangs (verbose mode) and upload it here, along with your zipped EFI

Sure, I will do that

Before I reinstall macOS Monterey and not Catalina (I was performing tests) and I try to do the EFI again, I tell you what it is.
