[GUIDE] OC 10.13.6 Z490 Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme + Core i5 10400 / i9 11900K + Nvidia GTX 1060

I was missing RealtekRTL8111.kext that I need for my ethernet, hope that works, ill keep you noticed!

Looks like it needs an Ethernet connection to work
Working! I got RealtekRTL8111.kext into my Kexts refi Folder and the Install went perfectly!, I'm typing this now from High Sierra totally working out, sadly I still can't figure out how to fix audio tho, Realtek ALC897, ALC Kext its up to date, everything else is working! Thanks to you!

To fix the Realtek ALC897, you should refer to the page here by checking under the codec list for ALC897

Under your NVRAM boot-args section in the config.plist, use an alcid layout that best fits your card ie. alcid=12, 23, 66 or 69. If it still doesn't work it means your layout-id has not yet been discovered for your motherboard, so it means you may have to start changing the id number from 1 up to say 100 until you find one that works. Unfortunately there's no other way around it. Anyways good luck with the build and you're most welcome!

Hi, i got the same motherboard, and 10700k, i took your acpi and kext to make my efi file(i did try your's, iGPU only, but can't boot.), It can boot Monterey, but the thunderbolt not fully working, which no hotplug, are your hackintosh facing the same problem ?

Ideally you shouldn't be swapping parts of the EFI out to suit your build. Rather you should be adjusting the EFI instead by using it in its entirety. There is a reason why it is done this way. If it is not booting I'd suggest you look at which AAPL,ig-platform-id and device-id your IGPU has (check your 10700K's Intel ARK page for the id ie. 9BC5) and change it. CPUID1Data also has to change to a Comet Lake value (EC0806). As it stands the Thunderbolt has been working fine so far on all the builds afaik.

Hi,
I found the cause of not booting , change to another usb port helped..
Thunderbolt 3 working just without hotplug, only cold boot before turn on the Mac, are you the same or just mine ?
Thanks a lots.

Great! It should be fine (it is the same - hotplug never worked too well on my build).

I see.
One more thing, I can boot from the MacOS(Big Sur and Monterey), but cannot install Monterey(kind of firmware problem), I guess it is OC version problem, so that isn't a issue.
Thank you again of your grest work !!
