Z690 Chipset Motherboards and Alder Lake CPU

I tried this, but system (with 12700K) hangs at boot even with the Quirk ProvideCurrentCpuInfo enabled. However, the .aml posted in post #1229 of this thread (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/z690-chipset-and-alder-lake-cpus.316618/post-2290851) works.

That is correct. With this SSDT, all P-cores, E-cores and HT can be enabled for the benefit of Windows and Linux. But macOS will only use P-cores and Hyper Threads.

Hey @Elias64Fr! Good news. I just unplugged the hack to install another fan, at reboot aqc113 started to work with the settings you provided. Thanx again man.
I have 1 more step to conclude de alder installation and your the man for this job. USB and Thunderbolt hot plug in 690. I can see all Thunderbolt tree but if I insert something it reboot. Also on cold boot if computer intent to use something already attached, it reboots. If I can help with this issue, just ask. Best regards!

With the new SSDT, all P cores at 52, all E cores at 39, memory timings lower with 2 points.

I have 1 more step to conclude de alder installation and your the man for this job. USB and Thunderbolt hot plug in 690. I can see all Thunderbolt tree but if I insert something it reboot. Happy to help for new devices like Marvell AQC113C. About thunderbolt issues, have you 5 pins TB header on your motherboard and have you connected it to your GC-TitanRidge ?

You could need disabling native ACPI code (DSDT) like TINI method and some others.

Yes, I have TB header connected, TB BIOS options. Please be more specific about ACPI stuff. I'm far from being a specialist.

First we should be sure that your TB issues are related to this TB header. You can try disconnect this cable and connect as usual pin 5 to pin 3 (on GC-TitanRidge side) to power on Thunderbolt card during hack switch-on.

Just SSDT. I use it with succes on Z390 like this.

First we should be sure that your TB issues are related to this TB header. You can try disconnect this cable and connect as usual pin 5 to pin 3 (on GC-TitanRidge side) to power on Thunderbolt card during hack switch-on.

I only have Alpin Ridge TB pcie card. Aorus Master doesn't have TB inside. If I understand right what you mean.........
