Will my Nvidia Graphics Card work with macOS ? List of Desktop Cards with Native Support

It gets to a blank screen with the mouse cursor.
Have you tested the card with windows to make sure it works ?
Tried the different ports on the back of the card to see if other ones might work ?

Hi

Thank you for replying.

Best to start your own new support thread in Post Install -> Graphics to get help with this.

Have you tried using SMBIOS of iMac19,2 or iMac20,2 in your EFI? As I know the K2000 can run on the older macOSes using iMac14,2.

No not tried that. Will set up a new thread and go from there.

Thank you

Hi, so i have a running old hackintosh with Core i7-2700K, with GA-Z68A motherboard, PixelView GT430 graphic, and running 2 HDD (with Snow Leopard & Mountain Lion each).

My question is, i have a new Samsung SSD 870 QVO 1TB, can i built a Catalina OS with it and hope everything runs ok? Or should i replace (or add?) my GT430 first with a new Kepler graphics (i'm thinking the GT 710's model)?

Thank you :)

Yes, the GT 430 is too old for Catalina. Get a supported Kepler card. There are plenty of choices at prices much lower than most AMD cards that work. Note that Kepler cards are not supported by Monterey.

Welcome to late 2021 ! Lots has happened in macOS since 2012. Fast new NVMe SSDs, many new macOS features and way better security for your hackintosh. Enjoy the upgrade to Catalina.

Thank you for your fast respon, so i'll upgrade my graphic card. I assume my existing motherboard & processor are fine if go to Catalina, of course if only i get a new Kepler card right?

Yes, by switching to a Kepler card your system should be able to run MacOS Catalina.

But note that since some Kepler cards have graphics glitch problems in High Sierra (and may be later versions) it may also cause similar problems for your system.
