The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

You've seen this Big Sur thread, yes ?

Yes, I'm literally reading and taking your step-by-step instruction. Thank you so much for that handy manual!

I've got a question. I want to run my Hackintosh headless.

Using a "Headless" iGPU
The video doesn't show how to run your Intel iGPU headless. If you do use an AMD or Nvidia card and don't plan on using the iGPU at all (i.e. no display connected) you can delete the whole Devices/Properties PciRoot (0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) section. WhateverGreen should then automatically configure it as a compute device. It can then do video encoding / decoding to speed up rendering. You will also need to change the BIOS and make the dGPU the primary video card for encoding / decoding to work. Running iGPU headless is the fastest way to render, especially if you are using an older Nvidia Kepler 700 series graphics card.

I can't find PciRoot (0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0) in my config.plist. Is that something I need to create a new child under Root > DeviceProperties > Delete?

No, just leave it out of your config.plist and let WEG configure it as a compute device.
Then plug your monitor into the DP or HDMI output of the 470.

Oh Okay, do nothing. Got it. Thank you!

On Catalina, I'm trying to generate SMBIOS for Big Sur's EFI by using GenSMBIOS following the instruction video. I have logged out from iCloud.

5. Generate Serial Numbers and your unique SMUUID
To set your SMBIOS and generate unique Serials and the SMUUID: https://github.com/corpnewt/GenSMBIOS
Don't use iMac 14,1 or 14,2. Use iMac15,1 as it works with iGPU only or with a dGPU and iGPU combination.

but, GenSMBIOS gets an error as follows:

Did I miss something?

I've attached the latest Macserial from the 0.7.5 release (in Utilities folder). Add that to your GenSMBIOS-master folder before generating serial numbers once booted into macOS Big Sur. This way you won't need an internet connection to generate your serials and SMUUID. Right click on macserial and open it first before running GenSMBIOS command. Otherwise macOS won't allow access to it.

once booted into macOS Big Sur.

Sorry, I missed that part. I was trying to do it on Catalina because I thought it was required to create a Bootable Big Sur installer on a USB.

If your SMBIOS is staying the same you can use serials that you did with Catalina. You were using 15,1 iMac correct ?

Yes, I'm using 15,1 iMac on Catalina. Okay, I'll use the serials with Big Sur. Thanks!

I’ve done all the steps in the instruction and boot from the install USB and got this screen. Entered modGRUBShell.efl and have done all changes. Then exited from the shell and reboot. Reset NVRAM and reboot then got the same screen posted below. Entered EFI but got just black screen. Wait there for more than 20 minutes but nothing happened.

Any ideas?
