[Guide] Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (skylake)

Give this EFI a try. Make sure to add your SMBIOS info to platform info.
Thank you for trying to help me, @slipanot & @jcarcinogen !
I've tried this too, but still got the black screen...
Double-checked BIOS configuration to make sure it is configured correctly, and I also unlocked CFG keys, even though I don't know what is it lol.
Does the harddrive configuration affect boot? I currently slotted both M.2 SATA SSD and 2.5" SATA SSD.
Or is using Monterey installer directly a bad thing? Should I just try using Catalina or Big Sur first?

HD config shouldn't matter. I run both the M.2 and SATA SSD drive. MacOS on both. Plus Manjaro and Windows on separate partitions on my SATA SSD. With BIOS versions, I have only ever been able to get MacOS to boot on BIOS version 1.2.1. Anytime I try to upgrade macOS never boots. So give that a shot. You can downgrade your BIOS versions. Use Dells website to find your BIOS version. Can't hurt at this point.

Thank you for your help @slipanot & @jcarcinogen, after grueling trial-and-error, I got my Dell 7559 up and running Monterey!

Still need help to enable Bluetooth, Brightness keys, webcam, and SD card reader, but otherwise it's already usable.
HW acceleration also works, and DRM is working, I guess.

Hello,
first of all, thank you guys for those informations.

I'm a lucky man who have 2 same Dell Inspiron.
I installed Big Sur in my first Inspiron and everything was just perfect... Until I tried to install Monterey.

To start I used the EFI of slipanot but it didn't work... It reboot at the middle of starting (Apple) whatever the BIOS up to 1.2.4.
Then I tried with the jcarcinogen 0.7.5 and it worked after few changes with BIOS 1.2.4. I could upgrade to Monterey without all things you know that doesn't work well. But after couple of minutes, the screen become glitchy and then goes to black. When I press the startup button, it going back until then I have to reboot to guet the screen again. Very frustrating. I think I'll going back to Big Sur unless you can help me to fix that problem. Between, I have an old Bluetooth dongle and it works well on Monterey.

In my second Inspiron, I did a big mistake and it crashed while it upgrade the BIOS to the last version. The mother board is dead with 4 white and 3 orange blink message. Do you have a good tip to reinstall the crashed BIOS? I tied all the one I could found... no luck. Maybe you guy have a great solution to save my second laptop? That would be fantastic!
I tried @slipanot EFI folder, @jcarcinogen suggested BIOS config using BIOS 1.2.1, and Monterey installation works after rebooting several times. Using MacBookPro13,3 SMBIOS.
Glitchy screen probably means BIOS version is incompatible, I used 1.2.9 and get glitched logs, but after downgrading to 1.2.1 it disappears.

Don't know about crashed BIOS update, hope someone can help then...
Good luck!

hi guys.. I have this laptop and I did this installation few years ago and I can't find here new guide for BigSur installation. so if I do this guide exactly but I’ll use BigSur macOS it will work? or I need to change something? if yes someone can tell me what?
thanks in advance [=

Your loosing your bluetooth due to your USB ports change when you change SMBIOS. Bluetooth is an Internal USB port. Set XhciPortLimit patch in OC/config.plist/kernel and also download USBInjectAll.kext and put it in OC/Kexts. Also be sure to add it to your config.plist. This will inject All USB ports for your laptop. Then run through the port mapping process with Hackintool. Which SMBIOS did you switch too to get HDMI working by the way?
I have the same problem with my 7559.. 1080p display.
scant turn on Bluetooth and I can't see it on the settings window, so I tried your solution but it didn't work maybe something else that can fix it?

Use the method I stated in the prior post. But try the attached USBInjectAll Kext.
