Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Well my initial one was a 3460CS2 in a pcie adapter (previously in M2 slot).

Then I bought the following Fenvi because it wasn’t working but had the same issues. PCI-E WiFi Card for MacOS Windows 802.11a/g/n/ac BT 4.0 PCI-E PCI Network Adapter mac-Compatible Wi-Fi AirDrop Handoff Instant Hotspot macOS MIMO 2x2 Mac OS X natively Supported BCM4360 AC1200 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9JD93Y/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

Well, the Fenvi you got seems to be a lemon... Maybe just get an adaptor for the BCM94360CS2. That's what I've been for a long time with zero issues.

So I did some experimenting:
1) I used the old card in a PCIe adapter and tried that - NO DICE
2) I put the old card in a M2 adapter and into the rear M2 slot - WIFI WORKS

Now I just need to put the antenna headers in because my bluetooth keeps crapping out. Never a dull moment eh? The reason I wanted the PCiE solution was primarily for heat dissipation (I.e. heat sink). My white case had scorch marks from the heat in the M2 slot.

So either my PCIe slot is dead, which is unfortunate, or it doesn't know how to read x1 cards.

Thanks everyone! Yep, decided to ditch this adapter as it may be problematic. Will simply use ethernet over power line.

When the hardware is working, the BCM94360CS2 is very much plug-n-play. No special kexts are needed. No special config.plist configurations.

Is this working for you in Monterey?
Mine stops working after sleep. Waiting for a fix. It was natively supported before Monterey.

My BCM94360CS2 works perfectly in Monterey. No special kexts or configurations needed.

I have a BCM943602CS(3 antennas) with a M.2 NGFF Adapter. In Monterey I have to stop and start bluetooth after wake.

3 antenna means it's probably a BCM94360CS, not CS2.

BCM94360CS2 has two antennas.

I don't know if the BCM94360CS is still fully supported in Monterey.
