Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Was this working in Big Sur, but broke in Monterey?

I just tried it in Monterey and sure enough there are signs of life, but devices do not actually connect.
It worked perfectly in Big Sur. In Monterey it's impossible to turn BT on. Nothing happens. I do believe 0.7.5 allowed the Laird to appear in System Profile:USB though. Wondering if the native BT module needs to be disabled some way before the Laird can replace it?

Hi All,

Since I upgraded to Monterey 12.01, I have developed a sleep problem which I never had before. The first time the system goes to sleep, either automatically or manually, it works fine and can sleep for hours. The second time the system goes to sleep, it reboots on wake-up. I've tried CpuTscSync.kext to no avail. Using OpenCore 0.7.4.

If you're not using most of the Handoff/Continuity features with Laird BT851, then an alternative is to try the on-board Intel WiFi/BT. Hopefully a future version of BrcmPatchRAM will address this problem.

I'm not using WiFi at all, so had hoped to avoid using the onboard. I only use the BT for keyboard/trackpad (for now). At the moment I have switched to wired. What is required besides attaching the antennas to get the onboard BT to work?

On OC 0.7.4 in Monterey it needs IntelBluetoothFirmware 1.1.3 & BlueToolFixup 2.6.1. to run.

Any iMacPro users experiencing high idle CPU frequencies on Monterey? Right now I’m idling around 3.2GHz on a 10850K. On Big Sur the same system idles sometimes below 1.2GHz using CPU friend. I did a clean install and am still having the issue..

We just need to download the Intel Wireless ZIP from the OpenCore 0.7.5 post and copy PlatformInfo credentials into it.

FYI, the beta volunteer post has been converted to Mini-Guide now, and includes this:
