I have managed to make the wifi and bluetooth work on dw1560 and mac os x 12.0.1

add these kext:
airportbrcmfixup
airportbrcmnic_injector
bluetoolfixup
remove these ketx:
brcmfirmwaredata
brcmpatchram3

Thanks for these files! These were the ones that finally got Bluetooth working for my DW1560. I don't know why the other ones didn't work.

can you power the bluetooth on and off without issue?

No problems here.
this worked for my dw1830. wifi always worked but the transport for bluetooth had changed to UART since Monterey. now transport is back as USB and everything works well. ill be sure to update my guide for Monterey to reflect so. thanks @petro your files helped a lot

EDIT: using the files above fixed the issue powering the bluetooth on again, however when trying to actually connect devices to the bluetooth I ran into a bunch of issues. I still used all of the above files but just continued to use BRCMpatchram3 and BRCMfirmwaredata. and now I can officially power it on and off and connect devices

Which kext for Enable/Disable? I cannot toggle that or it will stay off until I restart.

I used the kexts from post #71 of this thread and have no problems turning Bluetooth off and on.

I also updated AirportBrcmFixup.kext to 2.1.4. Enable/Disable bluetooth is now functional for me. :headbang:

I have a DW1560 card and I can connect to my air Pods fine using the method described. When I try to connect to my iPad it goes through the pairing process with a code and then pairs briefly and disconnects. If I try to reconnect from the iPad I get a message "Connection Unsuccessful - "Mac Laptop" is not supported - Forget Device". At that point you can only forget the device. Has anyone seen this problem?

Frank

I can see how much RAM is being used on Big Sur vs Monterey, and look at CPU usage too. But that will have to wait, til the next upgrade. Will continue on Big Sur for now.
ok so there is a "Memory Leak" on Monterey. The article claims: 20GB of RAM to run Control Center, 80GB to run Firefox. For once I made the correct decision to downgrade.

Oh and OC 0.7.5 came out, together with updated kexts for most things. There are newer versions of the BluetoolFixup, and Airport kexts. Hope everyone's BT problem gets fixed. Good Luck!
