That's great it's working for you. I'm wondering if it's because your mobo and mine are slightly different, if that may be the reason? I'm curious, would it be possible to try out your EFI file so I can try it out? If it works, great! If it doesn't, I'll stick with 11.6 until the glitches are worked out. Let me know thanks.

All you need to update to Monterey is OpenCore 0.7.4 or higher. Upload your EFI and I can take a look at updating it

Maybe in my BASE-EFI release notes I should've mentioned if anything needed to be changed from previous versions . Oh well, I archived my github so I wont be making updates to it.

For now, I should recommend sticking with Big Sur until the issues with Monterey are not resolved:
See here :

- #60
- #61

My experience is that Monterey public beta 6 is pretty much OK, but after beta 7 and above and up to 12.0.1 there are issues to be avoided.;)

So the issues appear to be with Intel Bluetooth? I haven't had issues with my Broadcom

Yes, bluetooth comes first to mind, it's easy ... but not only ... ;)

Thank you so much! I will try this and see if this works. Also, I don't have a serial number and don't even know how to apply one - LOL! Any input you can give?

IT WORKED! I was able to change out the EFI file with yours and installed 12.0.1 !!! Thank you!!! Now I have to figure out the serial number thing. Thanks again!

Hi,

I'm having my first attempt at upgrading from High Sierra to Big Sur using Open Core. I'm getting the attached error(s) when Booting from the USB stick. I've also attached the config.plst I've tried googling but can't find a solution.

I've tried adding the spec of my set up in the signature, but it doesn't seem to be showing. I'm not sure why. Here are the main components:

CPU: 7900x
GPU: GTX690 - being used for the install as the 1070ti isn't compatible. I plan to upgrade the GPU once un and running.
MB: Asus x299 Deluxe

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Nick
