Hey everyone. I was curious is anyone is having bluetooth issues on Monterey. On wake, I have to toggle Bluetooth off and back on before my Magic Mouse will respond. It says "connected" the entire time in the Preference pane. It always works on boot, and worked just fine in Big Sur. This is a clean install of Monterey. I know this is still in beta and this work around is acceptable for now, I was just curious if anyone is having the same issue. I am using a Genuine apple bluetooth card.

Even I am having the same issue. Having an apple compatible Wifi/Bluetooth card, works fine until sleep. After sleep bluetooth stops, have to reboot the system to make it to work. Additionally my usb port on board works fine when flash drive connected even after sleep, I have a USB hub any flash drive connected works perfectly fine but after sleep it auto disconnects. But everything was working fine on Big sur. May be a Monterey bug with hackintosh. Waiting for a final release.

My current workaround is to toggle bluetooth on and off via the toolbar. its a little quicker than rebooting.

still an issue for me in latest beta

same with beta 8. is anyone else having this issue or am I just an outlier?

Also having issues.

Can't quite nail it down but if the machine wakes itself (i.e. a scheduled backup) only a restart restores operation.

Waking via the KB/mouse, sometimes it takes 30 seconds for everything to sort itself out and then it works OK.

Latest OC (0.7.4) and kexts, beta 6 through 9 same behaviour.

I just figured out the cause. I used the USBWakeFixup method to make it so it didn't require multiple keyboard presses to wake my system, which worked, but unfortunately cause my bluetooth controller to get weird after sleep. Disabling it fixed my bluetooth. I guess ill have to live with a few more keyboard presses to wake my system for the time being.

I have the same issue with a Fenvi FV-919 and 12.0.1 (21A559). My EFI 0.7.4 works fine on Big Sur where I am able to wake from sleep with Bluetooth and my keyboard and mouse work. However with Monterey I can wake from sleep but the screen stays black, PC is booted. When I use a wired keyboard/mouse I can see the bluetooth devices are unresponsive although they are listed as connected. If I toggle Bluetooth on/off my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse start working again but that is not a viable workaround. Don't use USBWakeFix so not sure where to look

Exactly the same behaviour here with an original Apple BT/WiFi module (BCM_20703A1), also running OC 0.7.4 and Monterey (12.0.1). With Big Sur no issues.

From what i can read on the acidanthera github page there are some major changes in bluetooth on Monterey and the issue is known. we will need to wait for a fix it seems.
