Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

Emm, sorry where is the location to set the bluetooth connector as internal?

Oh i see, the Bluetooth connector as internal already, what should I do now?

also your USBPorts.kext is listing iMacPro1,1 but you are using iMac20,2 in your config.plist, change your info.plist in your USBPorts.kext to iMac20,2 and test with that

The display cards are still very expensive. May I know if iGPU works well when using 10th gen CPU? Can it work with dual monitors?

Played a bit around with macOS Monterey (12.0.1) today. Sadly, even after 3h of tampering with the settings I was never able to get the system up and running without crashes. Usually the system freezes after about 1-2 minutes (or when trying to restart).

Stuff that you will definitely need to do before upgrading:
- Backup your system using Carbon Copy Cloner (and backup your EFI too)
- Update your kexts (Lilu.kext, WhateverGreen.kext, VirtualSMC.kext, etc.)
- Install the latest version of OpenCore 0.7.4+
- Definitely follow the upgrade guide here
- Check your GPU (some older Nvidia cards are no longer supported)
- Check your Bluetooth (mine, a Fenvi T919 (BCM94360CD), worked fine after upgrading)

Stuff (I personally) had a lot of issues with while trying:
- SIP (enabled/disabled)
- SMBios iMacPro1,1 -> iMac20,2
- Trim and long boot times

Stuff that needs to be fixed:
- The ethernet card isn't working and I guess FakePCIID_Intel_I225-V.kext needs to be disabled and removed (likely also FakePCIID.kext) (Read more here and here)

I learned a lot during the upgrade, and was more than happy for having a backup (11.6.1) which I was able to successfully rollback. So as long as there is no support/solution for the Intel I225-V I will not try again.

Success here is my working Monterey 12.0.1 EFI folder.

- I made a backup of my 11.6.1 system using Carbon Copy Cloner (and backup of my EFI)
- I updated the kexts (Lilu.kext, WhateverGreen.kext, VirtualSMC.kext, etc.)
- Installed the latest version of OpenCore 0.7.4
- Thanks for the suggestion the Intel I225-V is now working too (as a matter of fact a similar solution has been described before by @ohchang)
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is working because I'm using a Fenvi T919 (BCM94360CD)
- SIP is disabled (this might cause issues in the future with OTA updates see this post)
- I'm still using SMBios iMacPro1,1 (DRM in Safari is working)
- In contrast to @ohchang I do have an i7-11700K (not a i7-10700K), thus no iGPU support, thus the AMD RX 560 dGPU
- I do use a WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD 1TB (Controller: WD Black G2 aka SanDisk 20-82-10034-A1) and a ADATA XPG Spectrix S40G NVMe SSD 4TB (Controller: Realtek RTS5762) and have not observed any particular TRIM issues with the WD_BLACK SN850 (0.107402 s) but the ADATA XPG Spectrix S40G is a bit strange (14.379961 s - but it is also a 4TB disk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). I will further investigate.
