[GUIDE] macOS Big Sur 11 on Z390 Aorus Elite board

I found that my wireless card adapter is the reason for sleep issues, when i disconnect the usb cable the hack sleep good and wake. It happened to me in the h370n until i find the right usbmap kext.
This USBPorts kext is made for Z390 Aorus Elite, it must work fine in your mobo. But keep in mind:
  • it's for MacPro7,1, if you are using another SMBIOS it's necessary to change 2 things inside the kext, tell me your SMBIOS model
  • with this kext, back red USB3 ports don't have USB2 part, only USB3.

My EFI has nothing for Intel CNVi Wifi + BT interface, the wireless communication module your mobo has. I use a PCIe card, Fenvi T919.
Look for kexts or settings for Intel CNVi. It's probably that, without this hardware well installed, sleep doesn't wotk fine. In theory, current USBPorts.kext must be valid when you install kext for Intel CNVi.

I see, you are not using the integrated Intel wireless chip.
Then I don't understand why it's not working properly or having the sleep issue. The BCM94360CS2 card must work ok in macOS.
Bluetooth cable is plugged into an USB2 internal port, right?

Sorry, I was thinking in the GA H370N when I wrote about the Intel wireless :O
So, you have plugged correctly the bluetooth cable and sleep fails with this cable plugged. Strange. I don't know why.
I'll prepare and EFI with 0.7.4 for Big Sur, hoping it will work better than current.

I attach the 0.7.4 EFI, it has MacPro7,1 SMBIOS.
Remember fill in 3 keys in Platform >> Generic: MLB, SystemSerialNumber and SystemUUID. I leave them blank.
Always when changing OpenCore version or EFI folder >> ResetNVRAM at first boot.
