@pieropontra Hi mate. Helping a friend that got a replacement mobo for his hack. He had mine (your old), and got it replaced by a prime-a II. Gonna install it and configure it today. Was there any difference in terms of bios en OC settings, compared to version 1?
Hello there... general bios settings are ok, I mean the same we use as base for all boards, no particular weirdness noticed. OC is good, I've actually squeezed a couple hundred mhz in single core and multicore, I think due to better VRM cooling compared to ver. 1

Lemme know if u need more info.

Here is an updated BASE-EFI 0.6.5 for ASUS X299 boards. I haven't tested it yet but it should work

Some notes:
  1. Recommended to use one of the latest BIOS (From Nov 2020 recent)
  2. Enable 4G Encoding, Disable CSM, Disable MSR Lock
  3. Config.plist
    1. Contains MacPro7,1 and iMacPro1,1 config.plist (rename SMBIOS selection to just 'config.plist' (For example 'config.plist-MacPro7,1' to 'config.plist' and delete other 'config.plist...')
      1. MacPro7,1 - Added RestricEvents.kext to disable the MacProMemoryNotification Error
    2. Updated to CPUTscSync.kext so no need to manually specify amount of threads
    3. agdpmod=pikera is Enabled in boot-args for NAVI GPUs
    4. USBInjectAll and XhciPortLimit is enabled.
Hi there! Fairly a newbie here but was successful with my initial build last year, but wanted to attempt installing BigSur. Is this setup a good place to start? I'm open to any advice if anyone has some pointers and words of wisdom. Thanks so much!

Hello there! You can checkout my GitHub and try using my BASE EFI to get started

NOTE: I’m retiring my hack so I won’t being updating the page for support but it should get you going. Good luck!

Hey everyone, it's been a while. Everything when it comes to updating the OS has been working fine. So far I've been able to get up to v11.6, but I'm curious about Monterey 12.0.1. Has anyone had any success with that? Is there anything that needs to be updated? Let me know what you can.

Also, I just saw that djlild7hina is retiring from his hack :(, but I completely understand. Thank you for all the help you provided me throughout my updates! I'm going to keep using my setup for as long as I can.

Again, very grateful for all the help from everyone here who has contributed! Look forward to moving to Monterey (hopefully) ;).

For now, I should recommend sticking with Big Sur until the issues with Monterey are not resolved:

My experience is that Monterey public beta 6 is pretty much OK, but after beta 7 and above and up to 12.0.1 there are issues to be avoided.;)

Well.. I'm on 12.0.1 and my T-919 Fenvi / Broadcom has no issues at all. No kext added... I've just updated to OC 0.7.4 following instructions.

Thanks Lolo, I appreciate that.

That's great it's working for you. I'm wondering if it's because your mobo and mine are slightly different, if that may be the reason? I'm curious, would it be possible to try out your EFI file so I can try it out? If it works, great! If it doesn't, I'll stick with 11.6 until the glitches are worked out. Let me know thanks.

Bye!
In spite of everything, i am still with hackintosh!
Upgrade from Big Sur 11.6.1 to Monterey 12.0.1 successful with opencore 0.75. Fenvy T-919 works perfectly.
