Z490 & Z590 - Will Z590 ever have macOS Support ?

I will try it now. My Hackintosh booted without complications, except those that I have been having with thunderbolt and my uad system. From what little I could see, the vtd is not there, and I use a fenvi, I don't know if that will prevent my hack from sleeping!

I am currently helping a friend who is building up his hackintosh on Gigabyte Z590 Vision D as all Z490 are out of stock.
I crawled on different topics and got a working EFI posted on the HackinDROM wonderful apps. Again a big thanks to @Inqnuam
Looking at the various discussions I founded that 10th Gen Comet Lake i7 is safer (and much cheaper ) .

2 points to clarify for my knowledge @CODYQX4 (OP of the original EFI in the Apps):
- Which bios version did you use? From Gigabyte website I see that there are already 3 available F4, F5 and F6? Does it really matter?
- For the initial Bios setting did you use the standard Bios setup recommended by @CaseySJ in his famous topic with Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Load default set up and then apply the changes mentioned in the F5 bios setup screenshots)? Or did you apply some different adjustments?

If you use Comet Lake processor, iGPU can be enabled. But Rocket Lake iGPU is not supported by macOS.

Yes, using comet lake i9 10850K. Do I have to change anything on oepncore config file? I use the one from @CODYQX4 which is version 7.2. Both of my machines are on bios version F5 and bigsur.
Another issue I am facing in this build is internet sharing is not working(I use asus 10GbE card) on an adhoc connection. It seems built in DHCP server(bootpd) not working properly. I had no issue with my z390 designare mojave build.

Feel free to try the attached ZIP:

• This is for Gigabyte Z590 Vision D (Broadcom WiFi/BT)
• OpenCore 0.7.4
• Comet Lake CPU with UHD 630 iGPU
• BIOS --> Internal Graphics --> Enabled (not "Auto")
• The config.plist contains a new Device Properties entry shown below for iGPU. The PCIe Path is a guess based on my Z490 with Comet Lake. This may or may not need to be changed.

• Copy and paste your existing PlatformInfo credentials into the 5 fields shown below:

• Finally, it's always advisable to copy this to the EFI partition of a USB Flash Disk and boot from that disk by pressing F12 at Gigabyte Splash Screen and selecting the USB disk.
• The HDMI port on rear IO panel will not work (needs some more patch entries), but the two USB-C/TB4 ports should be able to drive a DisplayPort monitor when used with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable such as this one.

What issues are you having with thunderbolt on z590?

Thanks for asking, sometimes I don't want to ask so many questions, so as not to pollute.
I will have to be very organized to explain the problem

I am using a Titan Ridge with custom firmware (making the jumper with pins 3 and 5 I think it is).
* I have hot plug with Thunderbolt 3
* appears in system report in Thunderbolt tab
* also in PCI.

The problem is that, when I turn on the hack, and boot the system, once inside I turn on the Apollo, and the hack restarts with a kernel panic of the UAD extension, as I will attach more the text.
After the panic, and restarting the computer, my Apollo already works perfectly hot plug, even restarting the computer.
But if I turn the computer OFF, I will have to repeat the process of -> turn it on -> get a panic -> restart.

Something I want to add is that if I do not install the UAD software, the board is hot plugged, I see it, (obviously, it is necessary to install the software).

Regarding Maple Ridge, I tried the F6 BIOS, and I didn't get good results, I don't know if I have the SSDT done right, but I didn't get a hot plug. Anyway I have no problem trying again.

PD: The sleep walked me!

I may already suspect the answer to this question is "No" or "Not worth the effort," but here goes:

Is there any hope to my running Mojave with my current setup (mentioned in my profile)? I still have a few old 32-bit apps hanging around, so under my previous rig (i7-7700, Asus TUF Z270 Mark2, Radeon 5700XT) I had Mojave loaded on an external USB drive and could occasionally boot-up off of it to run those apps. Mojave was not supposed to support the 5700XT but somehow the display managed to work well enough for me to use for the duration, before switching back to Big Sur running on my NVMe SSD.

But now my config is completely different, including i225v Ethernet (for which @UtterDisbelief on a different thread mentioned he could suggest something in Mojave) but now I've also got a Radeon 6800, as well as an i9-10900K CPU that could both complicate matters for Mojave.

My thought was to construct a completely alternate EFI folder that I could slip-in on my EFI partition before booting into Mojave, then replace that with my existing EFI folder before booting back to Big Sur afterwards.

But is this even worth pursuing? Or should I just retire the Mojave drive altogether?

I added above device property into my current v7.2 OC. Then deleted wegoff flag, and enabled igpu in the bios. The system didn't boot, instead it gave me a KP attack. After disabling igpu system booted without issues.

@buddyjack2 As far as I know, with a Z490 board you could disable the dGPU, fake the i9-10900K as a 9th generation and use the iGPU; a solution with two EFI and some cable swapping would be possible. But Z590 does not allow any iGPU output, even with a 10th gen. CPU.
As it stands, your best option may be to try to run Mojave in a virtual machine under Big Sur.
