Hi

Something else to try to generate the efi

I presume you have created the installer?

Hey so I was able to get to the point where the OS is installed but it doesn't load because of the same reason, it goes black and sleep mode, i looked around and seems like there's a need for patching since i'm using a DP that goes to DVI on the other end, but i wasn't sure where exactly and how to put it correctly in the file.

would you be able to help maybe ?

I'm basically trying to add this :
add device property "no-hda-gfx" to HDEF ( PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3) ). I needed to add this to prevent an AppleALC kernel panic when waking from sleep, because I am using DP->DVI adapters

are you able to test if it works over HDMI? (Borrow a monitor or use a TV?) as @OSX790 suggests, it sounds more like a connector issue (the OS is sending the wrong signal to the display port) rather than a 'sleep' issue

it looks like an incorrect framebuffer
