Hi Dreamwhite, do you use front usb c on your pc case, if so, could you send me the usb map kext that you use as I use that port a lot. Also can you send me your BIOS settings. I will really appreciate your help.
To be fair I don't directly own those components .
Regarding the BIOS settings the one that Dortania suggest are fine, except for the DVMT Pre-allocated which should be 128MB rather than 64MB.

If you wanna enable the Type-C port you should tell me what's the header you're using in the motherboard so we can adapt the USB mapping :D

Hi Dreamwhite,
I want to enable both rear USB-C and front USB-C (for my PC case) on the motherboard. Could you help me do the usb mapping :)

Rear USB Type-C should be identified by HS04/SS04, while front USB-C HS05/SS05. Can you confirm it?

Thanks, Dreamwhite, I will check them:)

Hi Dreamwhite, yes you are right. The 2 usb c ports are SS04 and SS05. Can you tell me how to adjust your SSDT_xh_cmsd4 (the one is related to usb) to enable both usb c? . I check the SSDT file and have no idea what it is :)

If you look at the comments field of the image, it says what ports are what:

I don't have the front USB C enabled as I could never get full speed out of it, but the rear port is enabled and works at full speed.
Hi Scope666, does the HS06 (internal header) include both internal usb 1-2 and usb3-4 or only 1-2?

I believe it's both. (1-4)
Hi Scope666, Thank you, I have other questions hope you can help me
1 Do you know how to generate an USBport kext before installing MacOS as from MacOs11.4 the USBinjectall is no longer working, this means we need to have an USBport kext before we install MacOS right?

2 Can I use your usbport kext first and then after installing the MacOS, I will create another USBport kext that suits my case? If yes, do you know how to list all the ports in Hackintools? I am curious as if I use your USBport kext, Hackintool will show only 15 ports, not all the ports.

I would check out this:

The USBInjectall I have in the EFI is disabled by default, but can be enabled to do your own mapping. It's a newer version than what's linked in the guide.

BTW I'll probably go back to the kext method as it's MUCH easier for others to edit my map to make desired changes.
