AMD Radeon Navi GPU

AFAIK, I don't think miners or scalpers will buy those. I believe they have LHR, correct me if I'm wrong
I think no LHR when it comes to AMD cards, only Nvidia. 6600 XT is very power efficient for mining so they're going to go after them.

If you were like me and wondering what is LHR, here is the part of the answer:

"To help combat the dire GPU availability situation faced by gamers, Nvidia introduced Lite Hash Rate (LHR) technology that put strict limits on the mining performance of select GPUs, ostensibly to get more graphics cards into the hands of gamers."

So as I understand things, LHR has no bearing on AMD graphics cards.

Correct, even those with LHR can be re-flashed to normal or mining tweaked bios. It was a PR move, to appease gamers.
AMD announced they will not be limiting hash rates.

Are there any performance benefits for 5700 XT in Monterey compared to Big Sur? Does anybody check?

AFAIK the best on LHR so far is 69% of full hash rate, even with modding. But maybe I'm wrong

5700 XT is crap everywhere, this is the third card I'm having problems with on both windows and Mac. I can check for you though. What comparison, geekbench metal?

Hm... I haven't any problems with 5700 XT on both system, I'm just interesting in some drivers improvements under Monterey that could bring some little speed up. You can try check metal scores with geekbench in Big Sur and than Monterey. Are there any difference between they? Also, what is the version of the 5000 series drivers under Monterey? The latest one is 4.1ATI-4.6.20 in Big Sur.

How can I check driver version?

I've had issues with 3 displays. I bought two separate 5700 XTs thinking it was the card, but it seems to be the chip in general. 6800 XT worked with it perfectly.

The Latest Monterey have brought VFR for 6800XT/6900XT. Is that true?

TripleYoThreat, you can check driver version through System Information - Extenisions - AMDRadeonX6000 (version)

What is VFR ? variable FrameRate ?

Yes. Variable Frame Rate. Saw that information somewhere on macrumors forums. Suddenly, couldn't confirm or disprove that. I'm just interesting in any movement from apple in rdna/rdna2 graphic drivers direction. Or all the corporate power have moved to the m1 family chips.
