you're right, sorry. I should have explained better.
I download the OTA upgrade package and launch it. it reboots and it stucks with the apple logo and the loading bar more or less at 80 %.
then boot verbose to see the issue

mr. @Feartech, -v is in boot-args. should I choose the debug version of open core or configure other parameters to see more?
up to you

also post a pic of the verbose output

I know this may not make a difference, but I was FINALLY able to switch out my defective Mobo and use my backup one and everything this working fine. For some reason though, I'm not able to update to 11.5.1, as it keeps on timing out (saying that I might have lost connection), after about 10 to 12 min of trying to download the update. Anybody else going through this? Lastly, anyone know what's going on with Monterey? It would be nice if Apple would take a break from all the updates - LOL!

Been pretty quiet around here but new OpenCore release.

  • SmallTreeIntel8259x.kext
    • Added but disabled by default
  • SmallTreeIntel82576.kext

  • Misc-Security-AllowToogleSip to True
  • Misc-Security-SecureBootModel to Disabled

    • Refer to the SecureBootModel section for more detail on proper configuration.
  • UEFI-APFS-MinDate and UEFI-APFS-MinVersion to -1 for APFS support on lower macOS versions.
    • Refer to OcApfsLib to adjust these to proper value.

Looks like new BIOS is out with Windows 11 support

Yes, new version 3501

@CaseySJ do you recommend any other firmware to try for X299 boards and GC-Titan Ridge v1.0 cards? It seems the XHC tree doesn't show up with Z390 firmware

Aloha izo1, would you mind providing your EFI information if you have upgraded to Opencore 0.7.2? Thank you in advance!
