I did not try HDMI recently, but it used to work in the past. getting both internal screen and HDMI was a little tricky though.

- boot up laptop with HDMI *unplugged
- close the lid, wait till internal-screen goes black
- open lid once screen is black
- now connect HDMI cable
- both Screens should work this way

if not done as above, internal screen will go black and won't turn on until rebooted.

Is big sur 11.5.1 is working with these configs?

Should technically work, I have v11.3 on Y11C (probably, not sure). OpenCore build is little outdated, but should work with v11.5.1
There is an issue with newer version of OpenCore on Y11C where "OpenCore BootPicker fails to appear" (randomly, most of time), so I didn't update OpenCore Bootloader, you can update kexts and config a little as per your requirements and it should be fine.

I tried to follow this guide some months back but even attempting so many times I couldn't get it to work, always kernal panic error or something like that.
Im planning to try again soon.
which version is most compatible with this guide? what will you recommend?
Current Opencore version is 0.7.2 and Big Sur version is 11.5
And how do i update your efi? Means what files needs to be updated?

I tested with macOS Big Sur v11.0.1, nothing serious is changed so will also work for v11.5.2

I personally have OpenCore v0.7.2 with all the kexts and patches updated as well, also updated to v11.5.2 last night, I don't plan to update the EFI unless the *Bug that causes black-screen at Boot Picker is fixed.

Update kernel extensions (kexts), also update config.plist (use ocvalidate to check config for errors) read OpenCore documentation and changelog before modifying anything, if done everything right you will also get black-screen at OpenCore boot picker. Enabling CSM Support in BIOS helps with black-screen but setting only visible if you have unlocked BIOS.

TL;DR: do not update OpenCore, but can update kernel extensions. only reasonable change will be AirportItlwm (user stable v2.0.0) for Intel Wi-Fi that will improve Wi-Fi performance (a lot), none of the other changes/updates matter much and you can use all the files as is for the installation
kernal panic error or something like that
please share the panic log, or screenshot next time you see it.

What does mean by unlocked BIOS?
How to do that?
Are you going to update the guide with recent update you did?

What does mean by unlocked BIOS?
Unlocked BIOS: Advanced Menu available, means all the BIOS settings are accessible (including those that are normally not available)
How to do that?
- Dump your stock BIOS image
- Modify it with patches required to make required "CSM Support" menu visible (or whatever you need)
- Flash the modified BIOS

*note : Don't try it unless you know what you are doing, you can end up bricking your device. consider yourself warned.

Already answered in my last comment.

*Edit : Why do you need updated EFI if there is no issue with attached EFI?

Thanks for elaborating.
I haven't still tried hackintosh on Y11c, but I tried it on HP Notebook 1000 PC. The benefit of Y11c is that you provided a good guide which I was not able to find for my other device. I was able to boot that only once but not again. One issue I get while installing is I was not able to install the older version of Catalina. I am newbie in hackintoshing, I want to make sure that first I get some more knowledge before I try again
