I made some changes , now I can see the window with language selection, but a few seconds later the system freezes..maybe it´s the video that apple starts at the beginning, I have no graphic card support for 7870, the card runs in simple mode, could this cause a crash ?

I would buy one that also works with Mojave and Catalina if you ever plan on upgrading to either of those.

Would you recommend a special Nvidia card ?

If you just need basic graphics like the iGPU from Intel, get this GT 710. Has HDMI output if that's what your monitor has.

One of the moderators has verified it works from High Sierra through Big Sur so it gives you many options.

Thank you, I have a 30 zoll display with high resolution 2500x 1850 or like this the display has a dvi connector,
but I think this card can do the resolution ?

I don´t need a fast card cause I will use it for audio editing

I've used one at 4K/30Hz so I'd think that will work. I used HDMI but not DVI.

Hello guys, no I can boot into High Sierra, Usb working, Network ok, Audio ok, hard disks are orange ,
but the bad thing is the Radeon 7870 has no Kext loaded, no metal , only 7MB Video ram are recognised,
whatever green and lily doesn't´t work cause my board has no uefi bios, does anyone has a idea what I could do?
I´ve heard about a ssdt file for the graphics but I don´t know how to so something like that...?
