[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hey, @jiffyslot,

what's with injecting the properties via OpenCore DeviceProperties?
That's the way, I do and it's also working on Big Sur / Monterey:

Good information. This is a more user-friendly approach than editing SSDT.
Where do you get the data from? These aren't shown in IOReg for me. Especially the data for efiversion and rom. I'd like to try this for a Sapphire RX590 SE 8GB.

Perhaps I might be dense but I do not see the SSDT for the Thunderbolt ports on the first page of this thread.

I think CaseySJ has warnings about Thunderbolt 3 monitors. You should see that somewhere if you search this thread. Displayport and HDMI monitors work pretty much without fuss though.

I'm running the same build as Casey for the last few years, & I'm using the following.
(Still on the original clover that was in the guide here and on Mojave.)

1. DisplayPort out (from RX 580) to Display Port in (Gigabyte motherboard/ intel IGP).

2. Built in gfx USB-c/Tthunderbolt out to LG 32" UN880-B Ergo monitor from CostCo. (It's a superb monitor.)

3. BIOS will not display during boot up or Clover, but after a few seconds you will see the Apple logo & the system will start up fine.
You can switch to DP if you really need access to Clover, etc.

My main issue on this setup is the on-board USB ports on the back of the monitor do not work.
I'm using the USB-c cable that came with the LG monitor.

Now, I know for sure that the ports on the back do work if I unplug the desktop & use my wife's 2019 MacBook Pro & plug that into the USB-c.

The link/attachment quoted next to my name wasn't my post. I used IORegistryExplorer from page 1 of this guide.

Hello there, is it possible to activate AVB over ethernet? Option is not available in settings.
Thanks
AVB is available with certain Ethernet adapters, but not all. It does not work with the on-board Ethernet ports. But it works with Apple's Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet adapter and some 10GbE adapters as well (PCIe cards).

Note that Apple's TB-to-GbE adapter also requires a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter such as this one.

Update to Big Sur 11.5 went flawlessly with OC0.7.1 and AppleVTD enabled.

I'm having an issue with 11.4 and 11.5 where the wifi just drops after a few minutes on my fenvi t919. I have already double checked my bios for my Z390 Designare and the VT-D is disabled. DisableIOMapper is also enabled on my config.plist . I have also attached my config.plist for review. Can someone please advise?

We're going to need a little more detail. Which WiFi adapter are you running, is it connected to MB USB header or an internal USB hub, what does the system report show, etc. Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? Finally, which version of OC or Clover.
