i use gt710 and i3-3225, and i would like to try Big Sur. I created the usb as indicated in the YT video, but with the efi of the sniki github, the installation does not start and remains with the black screen.
Doesn't the story in this post work?

That EFi has not been updated yet for 0.6.8 it was made with 0.6.3 and 11.0.1 so try one of the newer EFI folders by Lisa and others instead.

According to the solution in this post, it can be installed on CPUs other than Core i5/i7 by using "HFSPlusLegacy.efi".
Since the sample of OpenCore 0.7.0 is attached, please try to install it after modifying PlatformInfo-> Generic in config.plist.

EDIT:
I fixed the ACPI setting so that it doesn't depend on the GPU, so I'll reattach it.

I noticed that I had attached a USB setting for "SMBIOS = IMAC 13.2".
Since the USB setting of "SMBIOS = MACPRO6.1" is attached, replace and use.

Thx OP for the Guide,
I am currently using Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti which works nicely with HP 8300 Elite
I'm upgrading from Sierra(HDD) to Mojave(SSD) currently using the same HP8300Elite Tower, and it seems that there isn't anymore nvidia webdrivers for Mojave, or maybe I've done something wrong during the installation. I am now booted into Mojave and it's working but scrolling websites isn't smooth and something's not right with the graphics. I read somewhere that I should change to a AMD card but I wold rather keep a working Nvidia one if possible. Would any of the pros here advise on a course of action pls. Attached is a gen_debug output

You can only upgrade as far as High Sierra with a 1050 Ti. Sorry.

Ah… okay.
I just gotten my hands on a used OEM RX560 4GB. Just to be sure, I can just try swapping it out n see hows the outcome ya? I did not see any gfx configuration part when it comes to post installation or at clover settings.

If you have Nvidia Web drivers installed, remove those first.

Thx for the heads up. I’ve not installed any webdrivers for this new setup as i couldn’t find any drivers for mojave. :)

So some update after such a long time...
SO I gotten my hands on a OEM Rx 560 4B but a PSU upgrade was required as the RX560 requires external power.
So long story short, I gotten a new ATX PSU and the cable adapter from MODDIY.com and now I am able to boot into mojave but only if I boot via the installation USB.
I am not able to boot in without the installation USB. I am not sure what went wrong.
attached is the verbose output during startup.

Image1: verbose output when I first started up with the new PSU.

Image2: Verbose output when re-booting(without USB) after successful bootup using installation USB.

I can't really tell what's wrong...
PLease advise. :)
