I'm trying to upgrade to Catalina, again, and I just can't.

I even tried to upgrade to Big Sur unsuccesfully months ago. Now I have a little bit of time to keep trying.

I have clover 5150. My kexts are up to date

So I booted with verbose mode and this is what I get:

Any Ideas?

Any Ideas?

That's the point when the boot loader hands over to the OS.
Which version of the boot loader are you using ?
What is your current OS ?

Thanks P1lgrim. Clover is 5150, as far as I know I need 4990 or above, my current OS is Mojave 10.14.6

zip and upload your /EFI Folder.

There is it.

Thanks!

Clover has changed in the intervening years since your config.plist was created rendering it unfit for purpose in more modern versions. Missing the new Quirks section.

How did this happen?

If I update as it says in the post, will I still be able to boot in mojave in case something goes wrong?

Thanks.

Progress.

will I still be able to boot in mojave
I cannot predict the future.

You may find it advantageous to migrate to OpenCore rather than learning the nuances of the newer Clover versions.
OpenCore is a superior boot loader.

For safety you can use a USB flash drive with your test edits until you have a workable boot loader leaving your current installation untouched.

OK Pilgrim,

I had seen Open Core, but I did not have time enough to continue on it.

I Will give a try to Clover, since I dual boot on windows also controlled by clover.

If I fail, I will have to reinstall my whole computer.

Thanks for your precious time!

That's nonsense.
If you use a USB flash drive for your experiments no harm will come to what you already have.
