Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

** OpenCore 0.7.1 EFI for Z490 Vision G, not D **
  • SetupVirtualMap --> enabled
If I understand correctly the OpenCore configuration guide, the default is false.

Why is it enabled?

Thanks,
Juan

Initially it didn't work as pointed out in Post 2 of this thread. But it seems to be okay now. If you have trouble with it, please let us know and revert the settings back.

By the way, please edit your post and un-quote the full mini-guide. Just keep the first line (the title). Note that it says "Please do not quote this post in its entirety."

Dortania has a bit of inconsistency here:

Just to be clear, I was not referring to Dortania guide, but to the documentation released with OpenCore.
I understand the recommended value here is true or enabled.

Thanks,
Juan

Let's keep an eye on this. I am okay with changing it back if even one person finds a problem with it...

** Enabling AppleVTD on Z490 Vision D with No Impact to WiFi/Ethernet **
Would be possible to make this change compatible with Vision G?
I would gladly test it :)

Thanks,
Juan
