Guys, i faced a problem with battery charging indicator in BigSur 11.4 on Hp Pavilion 15-cc102tx.

- Issue: battery indicator is showing power source: battery when it either in plug or on battery and read-out percentage will not update during charging!

- Note:
1- when it's un-plug draining read-out works fine.
2- when i restart the laptop, read-out (plun-in) will be update but without showing the power indicator on the battery symbole.

what should i do, now?

Thanks beforehand

MacBookPro14,1 would be a better choice of smbios

shouldn't use DSDT.aml with opencore

try SMCBatteryManager.kext instead of ACPIBattery kext

or try and experiment with abm_firstpolldelay:

I tried with smcbatterymanager.kext and without DSDT Unfortunately battery indicator totally is gone and trackpad so.

Could you please share me a guid thread regard this.
Thanks

i have just realised that your SSDT-ACPIBATT.aml is not a battery patch as per:

although some users have had good results with this kext:
https://github.com/1Revenger1/ECEnabler
no need for DSDT.aml but will require SMCBatteryManager kext

Thanks a lot.
Will test with your new information and update here.

Tried all suggested ways but unfortunately didn't work.
with all ways battery indicator will not shown.
just putting DSDT with ACPIbatterymanager.kext will fix it but same issue and while pluged in, there is no charging indicator.

tnx anyway

no files attached.

you didn't try the ECEnabler.kext?
I tried ECEnabler and SMCBatteryManager without DTDC and ACPIbatterymanager = no success.

Any idea?
Am i doing something wrong?
