Hi there.

It might be a good idea to zip and upload the EFI folder you are trying to use to boot the installer.

Someone might be able to check it for you. (Remember to remove your serial-numbers etc.)

:)

Hi, this is my EFI folder it's the same efi folder than in the repo but i have try to make some modifications but it's not working :/

Thanks a lot for the help :)

Okay.

If it is not your own EFI folder then that might explain a lot. Is it one written for exactly your own model Acer?

Does your Acer laptop have dual GPUs? This EFI has an SSDT to disable the dGPU and a -wegnoegpu boot-command to disable it too. One of these is used when you wish to disable the NVidia/AMD GPU and fall-back to the HD520, for example.

The reason I mention this is because, in your video, the boot seems to stall at the point where graphic output switches from basic VESA boot mode to accelerated display output from the OS.

This EFI folder is not written exactly for my model because on the github repo it's written for a515-51g and in the series there are a lot of model and my model is the a515-51g-37z4. Yes he have two GPU one nvdia geforce 940mx and one intel HD520.

This is this model exactly : https://www.topachat.com/pages/deta..._puis_ref_est_in10112900.html#fiche-technique

Well, that seems close enough.

Have you checked your BIOS for any entries to do with the dGPU / iGPU ?

How did you create your USB Installer stick ?

I have also created my usb key by a hackintosh wh'o working perfectly , but i think it's not a problem ?

I have follow the opencore turorial, i have download big sur directly from the app store and i have copy this command to copy the installer on my usb key :
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume

after i have use mountEfi and copy efi folder after that i have use GenSMBIOS to generate smbios i have choose MacBookPro 13,3

In my BIOS i have follow the instructions of the github repo, i upload a capture of graphics configuration :)

The recommendation always used to be to disable VTD but I see that you have it enabled.
Not sure if this will make any difference in your case.
