pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I noticed that the boot up time is incredibly long. I booted in verbose mode and it gets stuck for a long time at this error message. Do you have any idea what this could be?

That is really strange. Here is another new screen that shows directly after the bios.

That indicates that there are errors in your config.plist.
Is there a way to reinstall big sur without affecting the user folder? I just did a fresh install and don’t want to install all the Programms etc again.

I'm still using the same USB fixes on all my builds with no issues. However, I also don't have any internal hubs...
I guess my Bluetooth problems also have to do with the error message that causes the long boot time.

You can just re-install macOS on top of your existing installation. Your apps will all still be there.

Hi @pastrychef . I'm wondering if it's reasonable or correct to use the your posted OC 070 EFI (https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/efi-opencore-0-7-0-z370g-zip.521191/) with my Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 -my build sig #2 that uses @jb007 's UIAC USB InjectAll patch. Edit: Same iMP 1,1 definition. I don't mind swapping out USBInjectAll for USBPorts.

You will need to do a few things...
  1. Add your SSDT to the config.plist.
  2. Delete everything in config.plist > DeviceProperteies > Add.
  3. Add USBInjectAll to config.plist > Kernel > Add.
  4. Delete my USBPorts.kext in config.plist > Kernel > Add.

Everything should work after the above changes.

You can skip steps 1, 3, and 4 if you replace my USBPorts.kext with your own.

My build is still running strong, no issues. I purchased 2 of the z370-g wifi-boards at the same time. Recently sold my remaining one. Question from buyer that I have no idea how to answer hoping that you may be able to help:
do you remember the BIOS version for this board when you first got it? I need to know if I should get an 8th gen cpu, in order to upgrade the bios to use my 9th gen cpu.
I have no idea what bios is on the board- is there a way around?
