Hello, I recently installed High Sierra on my Dell Optiplex 755, and I wonder if I can update it to macOS Mojave or Catalina?

Here are my specs :

CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300
Graphics : GT710 2GB GDDR5 (Model from Asus)
Ram : 8GB DDR2
MotherBoard : Optiplex 755 with LGA775 Socket

The computer has Legacy BIOS. and from what I have heard I need a UEFI system also the CPU is SSE 4.1 not SSE 4.2! So, is it possible to run Mojave or Catalina without problems? The card is Metal Supported, too.

Thank you, HeZzO

As you are yourself aware, your CPU only supports SSE4.1 but not SSE4.2, so it will be a problem with Mojave and beyond.

Check the following thread for what you can do with Mojave, the important point being point 4 :
4. Replace the com.apple.telemetry.plugin from 10.13.x into the System/Library/UserEventPlugins.

No idea about Catalina though.
