Hello everybody... I am struggling to hold to my sandy bridge machine as far as I could.

After the latest update of Sierra (10.12.6), the system crashes, here's the screenshot:

My graphics card is a GTX 980, no intel driver installed.

I still don't know what I am doing wrong.

Please help. I have some jobs I can't deliver without it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there.

The crash has happened before the screengrab starts so it's hard to say...

So you are unable to get to any desktop now?

Try Safe Mode at boot - the "-x" boot-command. Press the SpaceBar at the Clover boot menu and select Safe Mode there.

Do you still have a UniBeast installer USB stick? If yes, you can try to use that to boot your system.

:)

the issue would be the very old AppleALC.kext :)

That is an ancient AppleALC kext. Over 4 years old. Didn't know Vitaly was even working on it back then.

So why then is it in backtrace when using it with Sierra ?
one of life's mysteries.... :)

maybe lilu.kext got updated and not AppleALC.kext

but without efi folder, hard to work out

Hello Everybody! 2 things: Thank you to everybody to take the time to respond. I was able to overwrite AppleALC in windows with latest version, and now the update complete, restart without problems.. Update Nvidia drivers and now working correctly.

And I also I want to say... I'm feeling a complete idiot... The information was in front of me, and couldn't be able to read it...

Now back to work.
Thanks again.
