The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

This is the only one that I saw which batches them together.
The listing is inaccurate. Those sensors will not work with a 7020 or 9020 MT. You can try it out but the ones I've bought that mentioned working with older Dell models never worked in my 9020.

I saw that too
The only way I've found to get one that works is to buy the whole MT. Make sure you see actual pics that show the temp sensor cable installed. Most often they are left connected to the board. The sensor end connects to the back of the front panel.

when I search the model number, none of the listings mention the 7020/9020
The sticker with the model # has come off my temp sensor cable. Do you know the exact model # for these ?

Those were originally made for the 390, 790, 960, etc., starting back in about 2008/9. https://www.zdnet.com/product/dell-optiplex-960/
They used them up through the Ivy Bridge 7010s but not for the Haswell 7020/9020. For some reason a few sellers add on the 7020 models as being compatible. This R434D cable/sensor has never worked for my Dell 9020 MT. I've been regulating the CPU fan with MacsFanControl app instead.

Compatible Dell Desktop Systems:

- OptiPlex 390, 790, 960, 990, 7010, 7020

DP/N: R434D, 0R434D

Request for any Dell Optiplex 7020/9020 MT owners...

If you could look at your temperature sensor cable and record the 6 character DP/N on that
sticker which comes with the cable. Post it here so I can look into possible sources to obtain these.

I just have Dell Optiplex 9020, core i5. I understand from the post that VGA output won’t work
Will it be okay if I use HDMI to VGA dongle since I only have VGA monitor?
I used a Displayport to VGA dongle, and it worked fine. Don't know about HDMI to VGA.
