[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

...under macOS the TB bus is not visible on this board. Is your audio device working in macOS?
nope, this worked fine with clover, i don't use it too much on this machine so did not notice it. the usb3 ports work but not TB.. they work fine in windows. If i plug in my external tb3 M2 adapter no disk shows up in disk utility or the storage section of about my mac system info. If i plug in my TB Red Pre via TB3 to Tb adapter working on my xtreme machine the audio interface does not show up. Well i miss spoke on the USB, the two type c ports don't work with thunderbolt OR usb type c devices. Maybe i just have the usb port maps messed up. i lost everything on the last big sur update and rushed a usbmap using the python script to get my bluetooth usb back on line. I will start over on the USB stuff and see if the TB ports return

Hello @CaseySJ

You are now looking at the available versions, and I noticed that version 0.69 with Intel Wireless was removed and only version 0.68 was left. I had downloaded the version 0.69 I am using, is there any problem with it?

@Rulebreaker01,

If your system is not starting, simply boot from your full backup disk.

The command chmod -R 777 / should never be used.

If the backup disk is good, it can be cloned to the internal macOS SSD.

However, if the backup is several days or weeks old, then many of your recent files and documents will not exist on the backup disk. These files can be manually copied from the internal SSD to the backup disk so that the backup disk contains all of your documents and data.

Then when you are certain that the backup disk is up to date, you can erase the internal SSD and clone the backup disk to the internal disk.

Be sure to also copy the EFI folder from EFI partition of backup disk to EFI partition of internal disk.

The 0.6.9 mini guide contains both standard and OpenIntelWireless Zip files. HackinDROM App also contains both.

Hmm, if you have already achieved the desired outcome then what is that second sentence for? ;)

Hi @CaseySJ

I don't think I explained it well enough then.

Based off that post the desired outcome was this:

Code:
<key>TCPKeepAliveDuringSleep</key>
<false/>
<key>NotificationWake</key>
<false/>
<key>DNDWhileDisplaySleeps</key>
<true/>

That is what I have...which matches correctly.

But unfortunately it still wakes up with the RTC/Alarm when Reminders fire off at 5AM, I've tested this later in the day as well and it still wakes up due to the Reminders.

Do you have a Wake Schedule set up by any chance? System Preferences --> Energy Saver --> Schedule...

@DanTechMedia

Do you need Reminders on this system as opposed to just using your phone or whaever for notifications? I had to re-disable all Notification Center items, all Reminders, and all Widgets because the latest Mojave update reset all of those annoyances.

@CaseySJ I am upgrading from i5 9600k TO i9 9900k; is there anything I need to do other than swapping the CPU?
Cheers
