HackinDROM App for OpenCore EFI Creation and Update

We would like to add more motherboards to HackinDROM App. We won't be able to support all models, but hopefully expand the repertoire to many more.
Hi!

Could you expand on what "Motherboard specific" settings / config is applied when a particular board is chosen from the list please? I'm just curious.

I couldn't find my ASRock Z490M-ITX/ac in the list so chose a similar sounding Gigabyte 490 board instead, just to test with.

afaict everything seemed to upgrade perfectly from OpenCore 0.6.6 > 0.6.9 and I rebooted without issue.

Thanks

No, that is not how this works. You need to download and run the HackinDROM App and use the Create EFI function. See Posts 1 and 3 of this thread.

Thanks for having my EFI y'all. I hope it serves someone else well.

I'll add the release notes shortly!

Appears to be a great tool. Myself I've been using Open Core Configurator ever since they updated it. '
The more tools the better, gives people complete understanding of updating open core. Took me about a week to figure it out but once you understand it's very simple.
