Just installed 11.3 and all I can say is I'm super grateful that everything works... so far. Again, very grateful.

As it happens Im really pleased with this machines overall performance, stability and functionality - its the best, most "native"(if that's even the right word) hack I've ever built and honestly, with the simple structure of OpenCore, it might be the easiest as well.

Have you updated to 11.3? I finally have all of my pieces parts in and ready to start my build thanks to your help, but I was wondering if the USBMap.kext needs to be redone to conform to the one that @nmano just posted above?

Yeah mine is on 11.3.

haven’t checked nmano’s so not sure if that was for our motherboard specifically, or a general sample, but mine is definitely all customised for the PRIME A-II and tested on 11.3 :thumbup:

Another month, another OpenCore update!

Changelog for BASE EFI:

Bootloader / Kexts:
* Lilu 1.5.3
* NVMeFix 1.0.7
* AppleALC 1.6.0
* VirtualSMC 1.2.3
* IntelMausi 1.0.6
* RestrictEvents 1.0.1

config.plist Changes:
* Added Custom Memory examples for SMBIOS MacPro7,1. For more info, refer to post

So I did my hardware upgrade today and it went very smoothly thanks to your help.

I do have a couple of questions -- one is that I noticed that your kexts like Lilu and WhateverGreen are fairly old, is there a reason why you aren't using the newer builds?

Secondly, I noticed that some of the settings in your config.plist are different than the ones on the Dortania Guide recommendations. Is this because of the SSDT's that you created or is there another reason?

Many thanks for all your help!

You can use the newer versions of the kexts, I don’t think they’re that old but yeah haven’t upgraded to the very latest, I am due to do that with OC 6.9, no reason for it other than laziness on my part! :lol:

And which config.plist settings are you concerned about? Most are chosen specifically to match the board and BIOS settings although I have turned off a lot of the logging, verbose and crash dump functionality since it’s all working well and gives a cleaner experience if you’re not troubleshooting

hey guys! Anyone know how to delete the Feedback Assistant? I used betas for 11.3 til the RC, then I opted out but it's still here even on stable just updated 11.3.1 I also reinstalled the "App Store downloaded" version 11.3 last week but no go, still here, it's driving me mad.

EDIT: I deleted it from Applications/Utility and it disappeared from launchpad and dock. Is it normal that it stays in /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/ ? I suppose it is, since that's the app folder usually hidden to the user?!?!

@pieropontra : you have to unenroll your pc from the Apple-Beta-Program - then it should be gone.
