OpenCore Progress bar stuck at apple logo

now it gets stuck at the crossed-out circle. And the verbose is displaying some gibberish

That's great! It should all work, Clover is a pretty stable bootloader. :thumbup:

So the only things I have to do now is change the SMBIOS and install the NVIDIA Web Driver for my GPU, right?

That's right! You could even try iMac18,3 as the SMBIOS. Just remember to install the CUDA driver first (which is macOS supplementary-update-specific ie. 001, 002, 003 etc). If in doubt of which version of update you have, go to the About This Mac screen (ie. Apple icon on menu bar) and use your mouse, hover over the OS version code ie. 10.13.6 and click on it - it will reveal which supplementary version code you have installed.

Sorry for the dumb question but where can you find a supplementary-update-specific CUDA Driver?
