Honestly, no significant difference if you are staying in 10.15. If you want Big Sur, there's no choice.
One problem is the CPU ID. In Clover you can patch it automatically with patchAPIC, while in OpenCore you have to do it manually with SSDT https://github.com/dortania/bugtracker/issues/48#issuecomment-774943662.
CPU PM works on E5-2667 v2(but not for v1). Sleep works as well(tested several times, but usually I run it 24x7).
