Hi I have the same setup as you but I can't seem to get ethernet fully working with this OC (efi folder).
I had success with an build of G6 modell but then it was something on the nvme disk.
I was wondering has there been any progress since you first installed?
How did you manage to install it without wifi working?
I used no WIFI or Ethernet (Laptop has no Ethernet-Port) for the setup and used a USB-Dongle after initial setup
Shortly after the initial setup I was able to get the Dock to work
Why do you need WIFI to do the initial installation?
Now I have a BCM94360NG which provides native WIFI and BT

Only remaining problems are:
HDMI out
Internal Mic - as its a Intel Display Audio I doubt it will work in the near future
Sleep - still need to collect KP logs to figure this out
4k60 through the Dockingstation - HDMI only provides 4k30 - DP only 1440p60
Touchpad-Buttons and Pointstick

Hi again I have some updates I got it working with OpenIntelWireless and also sleep is working flawless now! :)

The only thing I can't manage to get working is the internal mic!

Here is my GitHub if you like to check it out or so :)

Thanks for the reply, I am unsure what could "enable" sleep with your config, apart from the Kexts it seems similar to my config from my Github.
Can you tell me if you got Thunderbolt to work, how did you test it?

You can check my devices here it seems that thunderbolt is working good!
I can charge through usb-c and also charge my phone and use it with iTunes etc.

Yeah I got inspiration from your GitHub but it needed some fixes and I manage to fix sleep with Hackintool and also boot time is now much faster than before!
I am curious how is your bios settings looking?

Can you tell me what you did with Hackintool to fix Sleep?
I took your EFI and changed the Serialnumber to mine but kept the SMBIOS MBP 16,3 but unforuntately Sleep isn't working.

Have you disabled hibernation? If not use this command :)

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
sudo mkdir /var/vm/sleepimage
sudo pmset -a standby 0
sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0

After using those commands I tried to put it to sleep, but it is showing the same behaviour as before.

First it turns of the screens, then the keyboard goes dark, then the Powerbutton starts to fade and after about 5 seconds it turns back on the keyboard and seems to be waking up again, but then the display stays dark.

Can you tell me your BIOS-Version, I recently did a downgrade since it froze after roughly 5 minutes on battery power, after the downgrade it seemed to be ok.

Do you have any tips?

Hello,
@tomaximoto
@Hampus

How this laptop is working with ... BigSur? ...Monterrey?

Do you have docking station?

BIOS sets? any mandatory option to update?

Thanks and regards.
