Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Anyone had a play with the latest Opencore, 0.6.7, and associated kexts - VirtualSMC, Whatevergreen, etc., released today?
I expect to update the EFI folders for (a) Z490 Vision D, (b) Z490 Vision G, (c) Z390 Designare, and (d) B550 Vision D over the next day or two.

Prices of the coming Rocket Lake CPUs. They're much more expensive than Comet Lake.

This is nuts. $600 for an eight core CPU? (and, reviews show that these things run HOT, like really, really hot).....I paid $350 for my 10 core 10850K.....Intel seems like a company wildly out of touch with reality....

Rocket Lake = Failure to launch. Nobody in their right mind will buy these.
Intel has been in a downward spiral since about 2015. Hope they can turn
things around soon. I'm not really confident though. They're still on 14nm.

Found it via Google image search. Said it was "launched" by N. Korea.
I meant Rocket Lake. Wondering if it will blast off to the moon or will crash and burn.

Hello @PeterAF,

If you are within your rights to return/exchange the i5-10400 for an i9-10900 then of course that would give you a significant boost in multi-threaded applications. To determine whether your Photoshop and Visual Studio jobs make use of multiple cores, simply run Activity Monitor and bring up the CPU Usage window from the Windows menu.

If you upgrade to the i9-10900 then no change of any kind is needed. Just plug and play.

Note also that 11th Gen Rocket Lake CPUs will be on the market later this month, but they top out at 8 cores, 16 threads. If you choose an 11th Gen CPU, we may need to apply a Fake CPU ID to config.plist.
Thanks a lot for your help!

I got message error after Opencore 0.6.7 update:
Opencore OCS: No schema for key MergeThreshold at 2 index, context <input>
How to fix it?

@CaseySJ I'm experiencing the following issues with my Youbo WiFi/BT card:
  1. After a few sleep & wakes and especially after long ones, I cannot toggle BT anymore. BT still works fine, but if I turn it OFF, I cannot turn it back ON.
  2. Apple Watch Unlock doesn't seem to work after sleep & wake because it seems like WiFi/BT doesn't wake up as fast as the machine. If I wait a few seconds, then hit Esc twice, the unlock works just fine.
Have you or anyone faced similar issues? I know they're "first world problems" in the world of Hackintosh, so I'm just curious :)

Weirdly enough, I solved Issue #2 by replacing the Youbo card with an MQUPIN Fenvi T919 card. For me the MQUPIN card has been more stable - sleep wake, watch unlock, etc. Just posting this in case it helps anyone.

The release notes for OC 0.6.7 clearly state that KeyMergeThreshold has been removed. So you know what to do?
