Manage to fix that,guys,
any ideas why my big sur installation stuck at apple logo in the beginning, with no progress bar?
I am using xiaoM4095 EFI.
Hello,
I successfully installed Big Sur on my Lenovo Legion 5P 15IMH05H using the XiaoM4095 EFI. With a bit modifications, everything works except the screen brightness.
This laptop model is equipped with the following screen: 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) IPS 300nits Anti-glare, 144Hz, 100% sRGB, Dolby Vision, DC dimmer.
In my understanding, the brightness fix recommended here (using SSDT-PNLF.aml and SSDT-PNLFCFL.aml + Whatevergreen.kext) only works for PWM dimmer displays.
Is there any way to patch the DSDT or hotpatch using SSDT for this DC dimmer brightness screen?
Thank you,
