<< Solved >> Can't boot after Clover update, LOG:EXITBS:START

Hey guys, I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to hackintosh. I'm in dire need of help, my hackintosh is my only source of income (music producing).

Yesterday, I tried updating clover. I mountes the EFI partition and did everything clover configurator asked me to do. Then it said to reboot, and after that reboot every time I try to turn on my PC I get thiss error.

Could someone please help me fix this issue ASAP?

In newer versions of Clover the file structure has changed so that drivers are in a new location.
You must ensure that all of your required drivers are in the new location.
In addition there is now a Quirks section in the config.plist which means that you cannot just take one created for an older Clover version and use it unmodified in a new version.

If you have a backup of your old EFI folder you could replace the current one with that. Did you make any backups ?

Ahh see, I'm an idiot for not backuping nor checking the changelog for Clover.. Unfortunately I don't have a backup :/

By default each time that you install Clover it creates a copy of your entire /EFI folder on the system drive in /EFI-Backups.

Managed to find the EFI backup on my other hard drive, mounted EFI via Ubuntu live USB, deleted the new contents and replaced with old ones. Works like a charm, thanks for the help!
